We traveled to Dubai for their inaugural design week, which was held fittingly in D3 — the new and evolving Dubai Design District. Similar to other global design weeks, Dubai had exhibitions spread out around the city, which lent itself to a visually exciting scavenger hunt in a cityscape that’s so different from any other around the world. Dubai, a city that has seemingly in the last decade sprung from a desert, has had some of the largest design growth in the Middle East and is quickly becoming a creative hub to watch.
